Hinchingbrooke 450th Anniversary Flower Displays

Brampton Flower Club was invited to take part in the 450th anniversary event at Hinchingbrooke School, Huntingdon. We were asked to produce a flower display with the title 'Education through the ages'. We were each given a school department to interpret in flowers, and props were supplied by the school. We also did flower arrangements in the entrance Hall and in the Inner Hall for the lecture by Dame Hilary Mantel.
The School was open to the public for two days May 2-3 2015, and was well attended. There were guided tours and teas, displays of art and DT work by the pupils, and music performed by the pupils. Our thanks to our Chairman Helen for organising the flower display, and all our members who helped make the event such a success.
