Grimthorpe Castle & Gardens Trip

URGENT APPEAL
Due to covid this trip has been cancelled twice.
So far we have not had many ticket sales for this re-organised visit and it would be tragic to have to cancel it again this time due to not enough uptake from our members!  Do try and come as it will be a great day out. We need your bookings by the June demonstration please.

Our Summer Social Evening

Celebrating the Queens Platinum Jubilee

On the eve of the Queens Platinum Anniversary Bank Holiday weekend we look forward to a talk from Brenda Eyres on Hats.

This will be followed by tea or coffee with fresh scones, strawberry jam and clotted cream.

There will be a flower arranging competition for members in patriotic red, white and blue titled "Fit for a Queen"

This can be anything you think fits the title but must not exceed 10 inches in any direction.

Please bring your completed arrangements with you and they will be judged by Brenda after the tea.

We really do encourage you to try something whatever your talents!!

Doors open from 7pm for a 7.30pm start

The Community Centre, High Street,  Brampton.

Our last club meeting

 Wednesday 4th May

Karen Longbottom

"I Do "

Karen's first visit to our club.  Based in Huddersfield,  Karen has a floristry business but also lectures at the college. She has been keen to come and demonstrate for us since before covid so to finally get to see her was wonderful. With her humorous commentary and beautiful arrangements it was a brilliant evening

Update: Karen and her college students have just taken a silver medal at the Harrogate Spring Flower Show for their

“Lady of Shallot”
