Our last club meeting

Wednesday 3rd October Open Meeting

Mig with one of his beautiful arrangements
Ever the showman,  Mig took us willingly "Into the Woods". His fairytale trip included Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, and not forgetting The Bakers Wife.
At the same time his commentary kept us entertained with snippets from his busy and very interesting life while effortlessly producing the most wonderful floral arrangements.
As this was our open meeting there was a wonderful sales table with many christmas themed
articles available as well as the usual selection of things for the floral artist.
A big thank you to everybody involved with the evening for making it the great success it was.

Our next club meeting

Ely Flower Festival June 2018

June Outing 2018

Our Club Outing this year was to the
"The Kaleidoscope of Life" Flower Festival at Ely Cathedral
The festival was designed by Roger Woolnough and Judy Wynn to create and enhance
and reflect the glory and magnificent of this beautiful Cathedral, in particular
the unique and colourful nave ceiling.
Over 50 members and visitors from the club enjoyed the day out.
It was just a shame the journey home was rather longer than anticipated
due to an accident blocking the usual route.
Special thanks go to our Chairman Janet for all the hard work she put in
to try and make the day run as smoothly as possible for everybody.

Brampton Flower Club were part of the festival with a design
created and presented by Janet Dobie and Maggie Horne titled
 "Holidays and Travel"
We hope you enjoyed seeing the world!!
