We look forward to a wonderful demonstration, as by popular demand, Lynne returns to the club for her 3rd visit! Truly entertaining this is one demo not to miss.

Drinks will be served before the demo and the doors open at 6.45pm

We will have Jan's sales table at this meeting. All those who have ordered a wreath foam for the October workshop please remember to pick up. They are £4 each. 

This will also be your last chance to sign up for the Floor Arranger Magazine through the club.   As a member you receive the four editions for just £16.50 a year.

The evening will commence at 7.15pm

at The Lady Olivia Hall, Brampton.

Tim did not disappoint with a wonderful demonstration using beautiful flowers and lots of foliage fresh from his garden. With a witty commentary and lots of useful advice it was a great evening.

Tim also kindly judged the members flower arranging competition titled "Autumn in the round"

Jean Bassitt was the winner 

with Maggie Horne  the runner up.

Summer outing to Floral Media

27 of us went to Floral Media where a warm welcome from our hosts Paula and Steven greeted us. Teas and coffee followed before a visit to the various gardens and the flower fields. We then had a demonstration by Paula using the wonderful blooms they grow. The hand tied was raffled for the breast cancer charity and won by Sheena.  The lunch buffet, all freshly cooked by Steven was delicious. 

Finally we had time to look through the selection of plants and flowers for sale before our return home.

What a wonderful evening of floral art and witty commentary from Mig to the delight of 

the audience of over 100 people.  With the addition of a choice of interesting stalls around the room and refreshments from the bar and the raffle for the beautiful arrangements at the end of the performance, it truly was a very special evening.
